Ethipothala Waterfalls

Ethipothala in Telugu means to lift and pour. Hence the name to the waterfalls on the Chandravanka, a tributary of the Krishna, 11 kms downstream of Nagarjunasagar Dam. The silvery cascade tumbles 21 metres into a quiet lagoon and thearea provides an ideal picnic spot for the locals and an awe-inspiring sight to tourists. Local transport can be engaged from Nagarjunasagar, which has abundant accommodation.
