Tribal and Adventure Tour of Andhra Pradesh

ay 01 Arrive into Hyderabad by morning flight and check into Hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Hyderabad i.e.; Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Birla Mandir, Toli Masjid and Buddha Statue at Hussain Sagar Lake. Overnight at hotel, Hyderabad.

ay 02 Sightseeing tour of Salarjung Museum, Charminar, Laad Bazaar (bangle bazaar), Mecca Masjid and Archaeological Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

ay 03 After breakfast proceed to Kothagudem and check into Hotel Lepakshi. In the Evening visit the Bhadrachalam Temple. Overnight at hotel, Kothagudem (200 kms/5hrs).

ay 04 Full day visit to the tribal villages. Overnight at hotel, Kothagudem (150 kms/ Full day trip).

ay 05 Check out from the hotel and proceed to Kunavaram on the banks of Godavari River. Board the Motor Boat and proceed to Papi Hills, night halt at the hills. Overnight stay on the boat.

ay 06 Back to Kunavaram, drive back to Hyderabad. Overnight at hotel, Hyderabad.

ay 07 After breakfast transfer to airport.

Important note for the Tribal & Adventure Tour Itineraries

The tribes found in the said itineraries are Gonds, Reddy, Koya, Gadhaba and Bondas (The most deadly tribes in India look alike African Tribes).

Fixed villages and tribes were not mentioned in the Itineraries, since it is very difficult to confirm in the Itinerary about the tribes available on the particular day when group or F.I.Ts visit the villages.

Permissions to enter the tribal villages will be taken on arrival at each tribal area.

Airconditioned accommodation is available in this tour except at Araku Valley, where it is not required.

Boat ride on the Godavari River is a unique experience for every tourist, the total drive will be in the thick Jungles of Sileru with huge Rocky Mountains. Blankets, Pillows and Food will be arranged with an extra cost of Rs. 1000/- per person. Boat hire charges are Rs. 5000/- for the round trip. Best time for this tour is November & December.
